ABOUT
Chip McLain has been a student of yoga since 2013.
What began as a path of physical rehabilitation gradually became a lifelong study of one of humanity's oldest wisdom traditions. Since then, that study has expanded to include classical yoga philosophy, meditation, Sanskrit, anatomy, contemplative practice, and the historical study of yoga.
Chip teaches weekly classes, workshops, teacher trainings, and continuing education throughout South Florida. His teaching weaves together movement, philosophy, and practical application, inviting students to explore how ancient wisdom becomes lived practice.
He continues his studies through advanced teacher training at Anuttara Yoga Shala under Yogācārya Philip Christodoulou, philosophical study through the Yoga Research Foundation under Swami Jyotirmayananda, and ongoing work with teachers from diverse yogic traditions.
He is the author of The Practice Codex, an ongoing exploration of yoga as both a discipline and a way of life.
